Question 1

How can AI help my business?

Accepted Answer

Start with one job that eats your team's week: the chasing, checking, summarising or drafting nobody enjoys. On a free discovery call we look at it with your own documents, and you watch an agent do the job before you spend anything. If it works, it is live in production in one to five weeks.

Question 2

Which tasks can AI automate in my business?

Accepted Answer

Good first jobs are repetitive, rule-based and document-heavy: preparing renewals, drafting management accounts commentary, checking invoices, a first read of contracts, triaging tickets, chasing updates. Odokai agents do the legwork on your own data, and your people review and approve. We help you pick the job worth doing first.

Question 3

How can AI help with admin and paperwork?

Accepted Answer

Admin is where most teams feel the difference first. Agents can sort the inbox, draft replies, pull details out of documents, update records and chase what is missing, then hand the result to a person to check. Your team keeps the judgement and the sign-off, and gets hours back each week.

Question 4

Can AI write reports and summaries?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Agents can gather what is needed from your own systems and documents, draft the report or summary in your format, and have it ready when you need it, for example a Monday brief before anyone asks. Answers come with citations to your own material, so checking is quick.

Question 5

How much does AI cost for a small business?

Accepted Answer

Your first workflow is a fixed fee, agreed after a free discovery call. After that there is a monthly platform fee, from £500 a month ex VAT on our shared platform or £1,000 for your own instance. Every workflow after the first costs less, because the foundations are already in place.

Question 6

Is AI worth it for a small business?

Accepted Answer

The total cost is less than a single hire, and the work runs around the clock. The return comes from the hours your team gets back on repetitive work, and it grows because each new workflow builds on the last. On a discovery call we look at the job with you and what it is worth.

Question 7

Is AI safe to use with confidential client data?

Accepted Answer

Your documents, your index and your audit trail stay in your environment, in our UK-run cloud or your own AWS account. Calls to AI models can be set up as zero-retention, no-training and in-region. Access is role-based and every action is logged. We will walk you through exactly how it works.

Question 8

Is using AI GDPR compliant?

Accepted Answer

Odokai is built for firms that handle sensitive client files: role-based access, approval steps before anything important happens, and a full audit trail of every action. Agents can also check documents against your own policies. We are open about where we are on certifications, and happy to talk it through with your compliance lead.

Question 9

Can we trust what AI produces?

Accepted Answer

Agents work from your own documents and approved sources, and answer with citations. Anything that matters waits for a person to approve it, and every step is logged so you can see exactly what happened. You decide where the checks sit, and we set them up with you.

Question 10

Will AI replace my staff?

Accepted Answer

Odokai is built to give your people more capacity, not to replace them. Agents take on the legwork; your team keeps the judgement, the client relationships and the sign-off. Most firms use the time to take on more work with the team they have. We are happy to talk through what that looks like for you.

Question 11

Do we need a technical team to use AI?

Accepted Answer

You do not need an AI engineering team. We build your first workflow with you, train your people to run and change it, and stay on hand afterwards. The second workflow takes days, and by the third most teams are building their own. Talk to us about where your team is today.

Question 12

How do I get my team to use AI?

Accepted Answer

Teams adopt what saves them time on work they already do. That is why we start with one real job, built around how your people work now, and train them as part of every build. Once they see an agent take a chore off their desk, the next idea usually comes from them.

Question 13

How long does it take to implement AI?

Accepted Answer

Your first workflow is live in production in one to five weeks, depending on the job and the systems involved. The second takes days, because the platform, the governance and the connections are already in place. It all starts with a free discovery call.

Question 14

Can AI work with our existing systems?

Accepted Answer

Odokai connects to the systems you already use, such as email, documents, your CRM and finance tools, through reviewed, governed connectors, so agents work where your data already lives. We confirm your exact set-up on the discovery call.

Question 15

What is an AI agent?

Accepted Answer

An agent is software that does a job end to end: it reads, works things out, acts in your systems and reports back, within the permissions you set. Odokai is an operating system for running a team of them on your own data, with governance built in. The quickest way to understand it is to watch one work.

Question 16

How is this different from a chatbot?

Accepted Answer

General AI assistants help one person with one conversation. Odokai runs agents that do whole jobs on your own data, in our cloud or yours, for a fixed monthly fee, with approvals and an audit trail built in. The best way to see the difference is on your own work.

Question 17

Can AI run in our own cloud?

Accepted Answer

Your choice. Odokai runs on our shared cloud, on your own dedicated instance, or inside your own AWS account, and works with the AI model providers you approve, including local models. Everything is built and run from the United Kingdom. We help you pick the right option.

Question 18

Who owns the data and the work?

Accepted Answer

Everything you put in and everything you build stays yours, whether or not you renew. Your documents, workflows, agents and knowledge bases export in documented formats on request, on any plan. We take you through exactly what you keep before you sign.

Question 19

How can AI help with customer service?

Accepted Answer

Agents can triage every incoming ticket or enquiry and draft a reply in your tone, so your team checks and sends rather than starting from scratch. Urgent or sensitive cases go straight to a person. Talk to us about your current volumes.

Question 20

How can AI help my sales team?

Accepted Answer

Agents can score every new lead, brief your team on the best ones before the call, and keep competitor news in a one-page brief. Your people spend their time on conversations, not preparation. We can show you how on your own pipeline.

Question 21

How can AI help with finance and invoices?

Accepted Answer

Agents can check every invoice before anyone pays and flag what does not match. Your finance team approves rather than keys in. We start with the process that takes the most time today.

Question 22

How can AI help an accountancy firm?

Accepted Answer

Accountancy practices use agents to draft management accounts commentary and take on the routine work around it, all on their own files. Partners and managers review and sign off. We can look at your busiest season with you on a discovery call.

Question 23

How can AI help a law firm?

Accepted Answer

Law firms use agents for a first read of every contract, pulling out the clauses that matter, with a lawyer reviewing every output. Client files stay in your environment throughout. Talk to us about the work that slows your team down.

Question 24

How can AI help an insurance broker?

Accepted Answer

Brokers use agents to have renewals ready every Monday: the policy pulled together, the changes spotted and the client email drafted, for a broker to check and send. We can show you on your own renewals list.

Question 25

How can AI help a consultancy?

Accepted Answer

Professional services firms use agents to turn a scoping call into a first draft and prepare the Friday client update, so senior people spend time on advice rather than admin. Talk to us about where your team's hours go.
